Denali Wetland Delineation

To support Denali National Park and Preserve in its goal to expand the footprint of fire and fuels management activities near park structures and egress routes, Sue Ives and Robert McNown conducted a wetland delineation and functional assessment and a floodplain delineation of approximately 1,600 acres within the park. This work will aid National Park Service staff as they produce a wetland statement of findings and impact analysis for National Environmental Policy Act compliance, as well as a Section 404 Clean Water Act permit application.
