Universities & NGOs

ABR’s diverse research portfolio is a testament to our many associations with nonprofits and universities in Alaska and across the U.S. Our cooperative projects vary from studies of permafrost degradation and coastal erosion to the effects of low-level fighter-jet training on calving caribou and nesting Peregrine Falcons. The products of these research projects often have applications for the environmental support needs of our government and industrial partners. Our scientists are also active in academia, some holding Affiliate or Research Faculty positions at various universities, and we have had extensive experience at working with university-affiliated institutes and research centers.
