Permitting Support

ABR has worked with all of the major federal and state resource agencies managing biological resources in Alaska. We have worked on behalf of agencies requesting permits and with multiple agencies in the pursuit of permits. We regularly work with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service for Section 7 consultations and issues related to the Migratory Bird Treaty Act and the Bald and Golden Eagle Protection Act. Our fish and wildlife research permits are renewed annually for surveys of ESA-listed and protected marine species. Specific areas of expertise in permitting support include:

  • Formal and informal Section 7 consultations for threatened and endangered species
  • Familiarity with requirements for the various types of permits needed to comply with the Marine Mammal Protection Act
  • Experience working with all major federal and state resource agencies managing biological resources in Alaska
  • Extensive knowledge and experience with permitting to comply with the Bald and Golden Eagle Protection Act and the Migratory Bird Treaty Act
ABR's triple bottom line: "Environmental stewardship, social responsibility, and economic viability"
