Marbled Murrelet Seasonal Activity Monitoring

Marbled Murrelet Seasonal Activity Monitoring

ABR conducted year-long radar monitoring of inland Marbled Murrelet activity for US Fish and Wildlife Service at three coastal sites in northern California. The main objective of the study was to use radar counts of Marbled Murrelets to determine the annual pattern of inland Murrelet activity, with a focus on the spring and fall periods to document the transition in inland activity between the winter and breeding seasons.
