Effects of the Exxon Valdez Oil Spill on Seabirds and Marine Mammals

ABR designed and conducted multi-year ecological studies to monitor the impacts on, and recovery of habitat use, by seabirds, Bald Eagles, Peregrine Falcons, and sea otters in regions affected by the 1989 oil spill.  Using advanced statistical methods, we compared data on the composition, abundance, distribution, and behavior of these species between oiled and unoiled bays to quantify species recovery rates and patterns.  We have co-authored reports and papers with nationally recognized ecologists and statisticians. (1989–present).

ABR's triple bottom line: "Environmental stewardship, social responsibility, and economic viability"
