Colville Fall Fishery Harvest Monitoring

Colville Fall Fishery Harvest Monitoring

ABR performed on-ice subsistence harvest interviews with fishers on the Nigliq Channel of the Colville River near Nuiqsut, Alaska during the annual Qaaktaq (Arctic Cisco) fishery. 2015 was the 30th year of harvest monitoring dating back to Larry Moulton’s long involvement in the study [MJM]). ABR has now conducted  9 years of harvest monitoring on the Colville in support of one of the longer term fishery monitoring data sets in Alaska.

ABR's triple bottom line: "Environmental stewardship, social responsibility, and economic viability"
