Biological Resource Evaluation for the Torok Development Project, Northern Alaska

ABR researched and authored a Biological Assessment (BA) for federally listed
wildlife species (polar bear, Spectacled Eider, and Steller’s Eider) and one candidate
species (Yellow-billed Loon) as well as an Environmental Evaluation Document (EED)
pertaining to vegetation, wetlands, fish, and wildlife for a proposed development on
the east bank of the Colville River. An Ecological Land Survey (ELS) was conducted,
assessing geomorphology, surface form and vegetation in the study area in support of
the BA and EED. Maps were derived from the ELS study including geomorphology,
vegetation, ecotype and habitat. A review of existing data also was compiled for the BA
and EED. (2010–present).

ABR's triple bottom line: "Environmental stewardship, social responsibility, and economic viability"
