Prime & Subcontractor Services

ABR embraces collaborative, multidisciplinary work and, therefore, regularly participates on project teams, both as a Prime Contractor and as a subcontractor. Our Project Managers and Business Office are experienced and well suited to take on Prime Contractor duties. For example, we recently completed 3 years of serving as a Prime Contractor on a major development project for which we successfully managed >$10 M in subcontracts for as many as 11 subcontractors. We have a number of informal strategic alliances with other contractors representing complementary disciplines that allow us to optimize project-specific services using proven teams with documented track records of collaborative work. ABR also frequently subcontracts to engineering firms and large national firms to provide specialized services and Subject Matter Experts.  We maintain a GSA accreditation, so we are well poised to pursue federal government contracts as a Prime or to join teams as a subcontractor. We can provide the following services to our contracting partners:

  • Pre-development baseline surveys for wildlife and fisheries (addressing compliance with Essential Fish Habitat, ADF&G fish-passage, Endangered Species Act, Migratory Bird Treaty Act, and Bald and Golden Eagle Protection Act)

  • Wetland determinations, aquatic site assessments, and regulatory compliance (e.g., Section 404 Clean Water Act permit support and mitigation planning)

  • Mitigation planning and permitting services, including threatened and endangered species and important subsistence resources

  • Construction and post-development monitoring and impact assessments in terrestrial, freshwater, and marine environments

  • Ecological restoration and land rehabilitation

  • Project management, field logistics, and safety planning, implementation, and documentation

ABR's triple bottom line: "Environmental stewardship, social responsibility, and economic viability"
