ABR’s Vegetation and Landscape Sciences program provides research and consulting services to those who conserve, manage, or develop natural resources. Our ability to work at the plant species, community, and landscape levels sets us apart from other consultants by allowing us to custom design and implement innovative solutions to satisfy both resource industry and agency requirements for a wide range of environmentally sensitive issues. This strong ecological background serves as the foundation for providing scientifically credible assessments of the environmental impacts of developments at various levels of detail. Our work has been used to support Section 404 (Clean Water Act) permits, environmental assessments (EA) and environmental impact statements (EIS), and less comprehensive analyses, such as environmental baseline assessments. Our vegetation and landscape sciences program has benefited a diverse array of clients, including every level of government, non-profit conservation organizations, mining and energy industries, public utilities, native groups, and academia.
