Environmental research has changed a lot since 1976, and so has ABR. To operate successfully and productively in a field that requires innovative solutions to complex problems, we strive to develop sound environmental programs for our clients by enlisting the best from our employees. We realize that our success is merely an extension of the success of each of our employees. We are, therefore, dedicated to providing a stable and pleasant environment and one that is conducive to individual opportunity and growth for those who seek it.
ABR does most of its research in-house, including statistical analyses, designing specialized equipment, permit applications, environmental assessments, and graphic and editorial services. We also take part in field studies that are undertaken in remote field camps, on shipboard, and with extensive aircraft support. We consult with other experts as the situation requires. ABR has developed excellent working relationships with scientists in many disciplines, including hydrology, engineering, archaeology, and socioeconomics. Our headquarters in Fairbanks allows us to draw directly on the resources of the main campus of the University of Alaska.
ABR’s accomplishments are impressive; however, it is the future that we are most excited about. We expect to continue offering our clients improved services to meet the challenges of environmental consulting in this changing world.
